Welcome to Threaded with Faith. By placing an order for custom-made items, enrolling in a sewing class, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Threaded with Faith is a sewing studio offering custom-made garments, home goods, gifts, and sewing instruction (both in-person and online). All custom work and classes are provided by Julia and/or authorized instructors of Threaded with Faith.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an order, making a payment, or enrolling in a class, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not place an order or enroll.

3. Custom-Made Items

3.1 Nature of Custom Work: All custom items are made to order according to the measurements, design preferences, fabric choices, and embellishments the client choses. Because each piece is uniquely created for you, custom items are non-returnable and non-refundable except as specifically stated below.

3.2 Client Responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing accurate measurements and clear design instructions.
• Threaded with Faith is not responsible for fit issues resulting from incorrect measurements supplied by the client.
• Any changes requested after work has begun may incur additional fees and may extend the completion timeline.

3.3 Approvals & Communication We may request your approval of design sketches, fabric choices, or progress photos. Once you approve a stage of the work, further changes may not be possible or may require additional payment.

3.4 Timeline Estimated completion times will be communicated at the time of order. Timelines are approximate and may be affected by fabric availability, complexity of the design, or circumstances beyond our control such as shipping delays. We will keep you informed of any significant delays.

3.5 Cancellation of Custom Orders

• If you cancel before work has begun, any deposit paid may be partially or fully refundable at our discretion, minus any costs already incurred (materials ordered, administration fees, etc.).
• Once cutting, sewing, or other production work has started, custom orders are fully non-refundable.

4. Sewing Classes

4.1 Enrollment Class enrollment is confirmed only after payment (or the required deposit/installment) has been received. Spots are limited and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

4.2 Class Fees

• Full payment or the agreed payment plan must be completed according to the schedule provided at enrollment.
• Failure to make scheduled payments may result in removal from the class without refund of amounts already paid.
• The Family price of classes applies exclusively to families consisting of three (3) or more individuals who permanently reside together in the same household. Eligibility is limited to members of a single household unit; individuals who do not share the same primary residence are not eligible for this rate. All other terms, conditions, policies, and restrictions apply.

4.3 Cancellations & Refunds – Classes

• More than 14 days before the class start date: You may cancel and receive a refund minus an administrative fee (or the full amount may be transferred to a future class).
• 14 days or fewer before the class start date: No refunds will be issued. You may transfer your enrollment to a future session of the same class if space is available (subject to our approval).
• After classes have begun: No refunds or transfers.
• Threaded with Faith reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or transfer to another class.

4.4 Attendance & Materials

• Students are expected to attend sessions as scheduled. Missed classes are generally not refundable or make-up eligible unless otherwise arranged in advance.
• Students are responsible for bringing required materials and tools as listed for each class. Specific supply lists will be provided upon enrollment.

4.5 Online Access to online class materials (videos, patterns, handouts, etc.) is for the personal use of the enrolled student only and may not be shared, copied, or redistributed. Violations will be prosecuted in accordance with Florida law.

5. Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is due according to the terms stated at the time of order or enrollment. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. You agree to provide accurate billing information.

6. Shipping & Delivery (Custom Items)

Shipping costs, methods, and estimated delivery times will be communicated at the time of order. Risk of loss transfers to you once the item is delivered to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier or customs.

7. Returns & Refunds Summary

• Custom-made items: Non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun.
• Classes: Subject to the cancellation policy in Section 4.3.
• If we make an error please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item so we can make it right (repair, remake, or refund at our discretion). Shipping for repair/remake are at the expense of the client.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, patterns, class materials, photos, and content created by Threaded with Faith remain our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, share, or sell any patterns, class materials, or designs without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Threaded with Faith shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a custom item or class shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific item or class.

10. Assumption of Risk (Classes)

Sewing involves the use of machines, sharp tools, and other equipment. By enrolling in a class, you acknowledge these inherent risks and agree that Threaded with Faith is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions or improper use of equipment.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use your contact details only to fulfill orders, communicate about classes, and respond to inquiries.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in [Insert your county/state].
